EARTH TREMOR LASTS TEN SECONDS Reed. 11 a.m. HOBART. Today. An earth tremor lasting 10 seconds was experienced in northern Tasmania on Saturday. Houses were severely shaken. There was considerable consternation; but apart from cracked chimneys no serious damage is reported.
