Queensland, was not. resumed till yesterday afternoon owing to the wet pitch. South Australia, in their first innings, made 381 (Richardson 126). Hurwood took four wickets for 81 runs, Amos one for 51, Brow one for 70, Rowe one for 56, Bensted one for 12. Queensland’s second innings realised 209 (O’Connor 27, Levy 40, Thompson 29, Hurwood 23, Rowe 26). Carlton took four wickets for 85, Whitfield four for 52, Grimmett two for 68. * MELBOURNE, Sunday. The wicket was soaked when play was started yesterday morning in the match, New South Wales v. Victoria. The game was adjourned when nine runs had been added to New South Wales’s overnight score. Play was resumed at 4 p.m., and an hour later New South Wales were all out for 402. Victoria had made 33 for two wickets when stumps were drawn. SYDNEY GRADE GAMES SYDNEY, Sunday. The grade cricket matches were continued yesterday in Sydney. Batting for Balmain against Randlvick, Wheat - ley made 105. For Manly against \\ averley, Cummins made 1)0 not out. Bowling for Paddington against Northern Districts, Moore took six wickets for 44. For North Sydney against Glebe, Hill took five for 19 For Western Suburbs-against Cumberland. Grangel took five for 28. For University against Marrickville, Jones took five for 32.
