TAURANGA NOTES

The Boy Scouts are making preparation for their camp, which will be held for 10 days, from January 3. The camp site is on Mr. Macmillan’s farm at Katikati. It is expected that about 20 boys will go into camp, in charge of Scoutmaster "Wallace. * * * Tho new Regent Theatre is drawing to completion. The seating capacity is 1.000, and the inside fittings are most up-to-date. The Western Electric Company talkies will be installed. The opening has been fixed for December 16.
