TIVOLI

“THE LAST WARNING” Remembering the tremendous success of “The Cat and the Canary,” Carl Laemmle, president of Universal Pictures Corporation, put the same scenario, directorial and stellar talent to work on “The Last Warning,” the big special which is now at the Tivoli Theatre. Laura La Plante is starred under the direction of Paul Leni. Others in the cast are Montagu Love, Roy D’Arcy, Margaret Livingston, John Boles, Mack Swain, Burr Mclntosh, Mme. Carrie Daumery and many others. “The Last Warning,” which is an all-talkie, is the tale of a haunted theatre and of the hair-raising adventures of the party which sought to dispel the evil influence. The carefully selected subordinate talking films are of an enjoyable nature.
