DR. E. WILLIAMS’S DEATH

In the report read the annual meeting yesterday afternoon of the Auckland branch of the British Medical Association, regret was expressed at the loss to the medical profession by the death of Hr. Brnest Williams. Gratification was expressed at the honour of the knighthood conferred upon Sir Carrick Robertson, a former president of the branch. Officers elected were:—President, Mr. Kenneth MacCormick; vice-presidents, Mr. Kenneth Mackenzie and Hr. C. IT. Tewsley; secretary. Hr. Lawrence Ludbrook; treasurer, Mr. L. A. Spedding; auditor, Hr. IT. M. Goldstein; executive committee, Hrs. W. Gilmour, PI. P. Ilolmden. A. McGregor Grant and W. H. Parkes.
