REGENT, EPSOM

Two delightfully amusing comedydramas comprise the current programme at the Regent Theatre, Epsom. One feature, entitled “The One Woman Idea,” is the tale of a Persian prince who falls madly in love with a white girl. His private harem is a bit of a stumbling block to their happiness, and the film recounts his troubles in adopting the “one-woman” idea. Rod La Rocque is the star. The other attraction is one of Victor McLaglen’s popular pictures. In this one he is a husky luggage porter at a big railway station, entirely devoid of ambition until he meets “the girl.”
