SHARK HORROR
ALL FLESH STRIPPED FROM BONES QUEENSLAND TRAGEDY (United P.A.— By Telegraph — Copyright) Reed. 10.10 a.m. SYDNEY, Today. A message from Townsville states that a shark horror was discovered, when a skeleton of an unknown man was recovered from Ross Creek, with practically every vestige of flesh eaten from the bones. Medical opinion was that the man had not been in the w r ater more than 48 hours. The head was still on the body, and boots and socks on the feet; but the skeleton was stripped clean. Recently a man fell into the same creek, which runs through the town. He was in the water only a few seconds when sharks attacked and killed him before the eyes of people in the main street.
