DRAMATIC RECITAL
MR. RUSSELL-WOOD AND HIS PUPILS At the Dew is Eady Hall this evening:, Mr. W. Russell-Wood will present his pupils in a grand Costume and Dramatic Recital. The items to be presented cover a wide range and embrace almost every branch of the Elocutionary and Dramatic Arts. A feature of the programme will be Lady Alix Egerton’e beautiful allegory The Masque of the Two Strangers.” in which a number of advanced pupils will appear and which will be interspersed with songs by Miss Hope Asher and dancer by pupils of Miss Cecil Hall. The tiny tots will be seen in two delightful fairy plays and many novel items in coetume. Mr. Russell-Wood will be seen in comedy. “Fortune Favours Fools,” >1 which he will be supported by MTss Scott- Higgin son and Mr. J. A. Sharp. Miss Edna Thomas and Mr. Raymond Reeve will contribute humorous duets and the music will be supplied by Mr. Gordan Edwards. ORGAN RECITAL The Sunday recital in the Town Hall will be giv* n tomorrow' afternoon at threa o’clock, when the city organist. Mr. Maughan Barnett, will play works by Bach. Wolstenholme and Widor. Best’s Concert Fantasia on ‘Old English Airs.” and Schubert’s “Ave Maria.” BAND AT ZOO ON SUNDAY The Municipal Band plays at the Zoological Park tomorrow (Sunday) afternoon at three o’clock. A charming programme includes the selections ' Lilac Time ’ and lolanthe,” overture, “.Jubilant”; morceau. “Pleading”; intermezzo, "Wedgwood Blue”; bright marches. “Sylvia,” “The Champion.” and “Glenavy,” and popular hymn tune*.
