ASYLUM ESCAPE

INMATE MISSING

An inmate of the Auckland Mental Hospital, who escaped from the institution shortly after 11 o’clock last evening, has not yet been traced. He was wearing a dark tweed suit and a grey felt hat, his clothing being marked N 4. His age is about 40, and he is sft 7in in height, and is of medium build.

He Is clean-shaven, has dark hair, turning grey, and dark eyes. He is not of a vio’ent disposition.
