YACHT ASHORE

14-FOOTER “SEA HAWK’’ DAMAGED

The 14-foot Y class yacht Sea Hawk went ashore on the rocks of the w’aterfront roadway embankment yesterday afternoon. She was found lying there last evening about half-way between Point Resolution and Hobson Point. The boys who found her hauled her well up on to the embankment out of reach of the sea. It is thought that her mooring-line parted from the mooring-buoy, w’hick resulted in her being blown ashore. A hole has been stove in the starboard side at the bow and a crack expends from the hole down the length of that side. No other damage is apparent.
