APPLAUSE FOLLOWS COOL RECEPTION *
PARIS, Friday. The Premier, M. Andre Tardieu, Uad 5 cool reception in the Chamber of Deputies when he went to the tribune to read his Ministerial declaration. However, his reference to home affairs and to a series of projects in connection with them aroused great applause. He captured the whole of ■he Right and Centre Parties. The parties of the Left were obvi°usly in a dilemma, as the programme contained much that they desire. Contrary to expectations the debate •as adjourned. It was thought that ■he Government would have scored by a narrow majority.
