FARMHOUSE DESTROYED
FIRE NEAR CAMBRIDGE From Our Own Correspondent CAMBBLDGE, Today. An eight-roomed dwelling with the whole of the contents, owned by Mr. D. M. Bourke, farmer, Pukerimu, was destroyed by fire early yesterday morning. There was no one on the premises at the time of the outbreak. When first observed by the owners’ sharemilkers, the structure was a mass of fiames, and there was no hope of saving any of the contents. The building was insured for <£ 700 in the South British Office and the contents for £4OO with the Alliance Company.
