PARLIAMENTARY BONUS

P. AND T. OFFICERS PROTEST “RESTORATION OF CUTS” Press Association MASTERTON, Today. ‘•The Wairarapa section of tlie Post and Telegraph Officers’ Association strongly protests against the proposed Parliamentary bonus, which is their restoration of the salary cut under another name. It maintains that: the same reasons as those advanced by the Government in regard to finance during the debate on Public Service salaries should equally apply to salaries of members of Parliament.” Such was the resolution passed today by the Wairarapa section of the Post and Telegraph Association.
