ROSES AND SWEET PEAS

GREY LYNN WEDDING CAMPBELL—BROWNE A pretty wedding was celebrated at St. Columba’s Church recently, when Miss Lily Browne, eldest daughter of Mr. and Airs. E. Browne, of Grey Lynn,was married to Mr. Jack Campbell, third son of Air. and Mrs. J. Campbell, Morningside. The Rev. Hobday was the officiating clergyman, the Rev. Chitty presiding at the organ. The bride, who was given away by her father, looked charming in a frock of white satin and sJlver lace with hem of uneven length. Her veil of embroidered net was held in place with clusters of orange blossom. A shower bouquet of pink and white sweet peas and maidenhair fern was carried. The first bridesmaid, Miss Carter, wore a frock of blue georgette and silver lame with a hat of blue tulle, and carried a shower bouquet of pink and white anyaleas. The second and third bridesmaids, Miss Browne and Miss Houlalian, were frocked in lavender georgette with rosebud trimming and tulle hats to match. They carried bouquets of lilac and pale pink roses. Air. C. C. Campbell was best man, Mr. Adamson acting as groomsman. A reception was afterward held in the St. Columba Hall, Surrey Crescent, where Airs. Browne received the guests in a frock of navy blue silk marocain with hat to match. Airs. Campbell wore a black lace frock, with a black hat. Among those present were:—Airs. Houlalian, Airs. A. Barber, Mr. and Mrs. W. Shepherd, Airs. Claude Browne, Mrs. P. Adamson.
