NEW PICTURES TOMORROW Rainbow Ryan will sing liis catchy melodies at the Tivoli Theatre for the last time this evening, when the enjoyable talking programme l eaded by “The Rainbow Man” will have its final presentation. The new programme at the Tivoli tomorrow is the one transferred from the Plaza, and is headed by another outstanding talkie, “River of Romance.” Dashing, romantic, impetuous—vet gallant and chivalrous withal, that s the Tom Rumford portrayed by Charles Rogers in this, his newest all-talking picture. which is based upon the immortal tale of the old South of early plantation days, river pirates and gambling hall hellions, •Magnolia.” A weakling turned swashbuckler, Buddv carries the part of the distinguished heights of acting never previously attained by him. And that in spit© of the brilliant work he did in “Abie’s Irish Rose,” ’‘Close Harmony and “Wings.”
