3,000 BIBLES IN N.Z. HOTELS

REV. DAVID CALDER’S WORK From Our Oxen Correspondent DUNEDIN, Today. The Dominion secretary of the British and Foreign Bible Society, the Rev. David Calder, estimates that he has placed 3,000 Bibles in the bedrooms of the leading hotels of New Zealand. Bv Easter he hopes that the total will have reached 5,000. Mr. Calder is at present visiting Dunedin, having covered all the main towns between Auckland and Timaru. Since his arrival last week ire has received sufficient support to warrant his placing Bibles in all the hotels in Otago and he will leave shortly to continue the work in Southland.
