Alley is keen to have a shot at the light-heavyweight title held by Clarence Eklund and hopes to meet the champion in a bout for the title in Dunedin on October 23. Alley is confident that he can make the weight of 12st 71b without losing his strength and is sure that he can repeat the victory he scored over Eklund m a catch-weight contest in Wellington a month or so ago. .... ~ Alley expects to sail for home from Wellington at the beginning of December. AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIPS The New Zealand amateur wrestling championships are to be decided in the Auckland Town Hall on Monday evening. and it is expected that there will ho a large number of entries.
