TE KUITI FRIENDLY SOCIETIES’ SPORTS CLUB ANNUAL MEETING HELD From Our Own Correspondent TK KUITI. Monday. The annual meeting of the Te Kultl Friendly Societies Sports Club was held on Saturday evening, when there was a large attendance of members. A satisfactory financial position was disclosed, there being a credit balance cf £lO3 17s 2d. Prize money paid out at the Easter sports meeting amounted to £159 16s 6d. while the gate takings reached the sum of £76 ISrf 6d- The club membership now stood at 150. An effort is to be made to again enlist the services of Mr. D. Court’s Auckland Pipe Band for the annual sports. It was decided to write to the executors of the Smith Memorial at Hamilton and endeavour to obtain a cup for competition in the children's classes. An attempt is to be made to revive the King Country centre of the New Zealand Athletic Association, and it was decided to communicate with Mr. fcS. Sarah, of Taumarunui. in order to arrange a meting of delegates at an early date. An honorarium of £lO was granted to the secretary. Mr. R. Schumacher. for his valuable services during the year.
