A DULL MARKET
AUCKLAND HIDE SALE Hides met with a very dull market at the fortnightly hide and skin sale conducted by the Auckland Woolbrokers’ Association this afternoon. There was little competition, and most of the offerings were passed in under the hammer. Practically no heavy hides changed hands, and many light to medium hides sold changed hands at up to Id a lb down on the prices at tlie last sale. Sheepskins sold at late rates.
