BUTTER AND CHEESE Merchants report receipt of London fables as follow: Leonard and Sons, from A. C. RowKon under date November 1: ‘ Butter, 174 s to 1765; market weak. Cheese, coloured, 03s; white, 9 4s; market fcteady.” Amalgamated Dairies, Ltd., from London: —“Butter: Our prices are unchanged (Anchor 183 s); market irregular. Still little doing:. Stored quoted 174 s to 1765, with some new season’s selling in competition with stored. Danish. 193 s to 3945; spot. 185 s f.o.b. Deliveries of New Zealand 673 tons: stock. 3.895 tons; retails unchanged. Cheese: Our prices and market un, changed. White, 945; coloured. 935. Canadian, fair demand, white and coloured 96s spot; retail unchanged.” The Bank of N«r Zealand has received the following advice from its London office as at the close of business last week:—“Butter, weak. 178 s to 3 80s: cheese, steady, white, 94s to 955; coloured, 935.”
