COALMINING DISPUTE
TROUBLE AT BLACKBALL Press Association WESTPORT, Sunday. Members of the West Coast District Council and of the National Council met at Westport yesterday to consider the Blackball mine dispute over the employment of non-unionists. After a full day’s discussion it was decided to leave the matter in the hands of the executive members of the District Council and the national body to endeavour to effect a settlement.
