Members are reminded that SUNDAY", November 3, will be observed as World’s Temperance Sunday. All members and sympathisers are urged to wear a piece of Blue Ribbon throughout the day. Mrs. Lee-Cowie, District President, will preach at Otahuhu on Sunday. 11 a.m.—Otahuhu Baptist Church. 7 p.m.—As arranged. SPECIAL PRAYER MEETINGS AT OTAHUHU, TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 5. Special Prayer Meetings will be held at Otahuhu on TUESDAY NEXT. Members and friends will assemble at the Post Office, Queen Street, at 9.30 a.m., and leave for Otahuhu. A short Prayer Meeting will be held at the Otahuhu Baptist Church at 10.30 a.m. Members and friends will then march in procession to the Otahuhu Brewery, in front of which a Prayer Meeting will be held. This brewery is viewed as a menace to life and safety, and prayers will be offered for Divine intervention to prevent its operation. Christian women of all denominations are urged to attend the meetings at Otahuhu on Tuesday Next.
