SATIN AND GEORGETTE
TE AWAMUTU WEDDING McCLYMONT—BEVIN ® St. John’s Anglican Church, Te ~ Awamutu, was the scene of a pretty wedding on Wednesday, when Miss f Hazel Frances Bevin was married to Mr. Robert Bruce McClymont, of q Hangatiki, second son of Mr. R. McClymont, of Frankton. The Rev. f S. R. Wareing officiated. The bride, who was given away by i her uncle, Mr. J. Russell, wore a model e frock of white georgette beaded in silver over satin. Her tulle veil was held in place by a coronet of orange t blossom, and she carried a bouquet of lilies of the valley, roses and maidenhair fern. f Miss Gladys Smith, a cousin of the ’• bride, was chief bridesmaid, wearing * a floral frock of lemon georgette with ii berth© collar and yellow lace crinoline 1 hat. t The second bridesmaid, Miss Erna Boys, wore a frock of green floral e georgette with berthe collar, and ™ yellow lace crinoline hat. Both shower f bouquets were of Iceland popi>ies and American daisies. e Little .Beraline Greves, niece of the bride, wore a frock of green frilled t crepe de chine with tulle headband, 0 and carried a basket of polyanthus and sweet peas. In attendance as e page boy was little Ronald Bayly, 3 wearing a white satin tunic, f Mr. Alf Wood, of Hamilton, carried out the duties of best man, and Mr. L. G. Bevin, of Auckland, was grooms o man. At the reception the hostess, Mrs. J. - Russell, received the guests in a frock ■» of navy satin beaute with flat en suite. Later the happy couple departed on their honeymoon tour, the bride travelling in an ensemble suit of beige radium lace and georgette, with hat and fox furs to tone, the latter being the gift of the bridegroom. Mr. and * Mrs. McClymont will make their home - at Hangatiki.
