MILL MANAGER KILLED
BUSH RAILWAY FATALITY STRUCK BY CATTLE-STOP
(Special to THE SUN) ROTORUA, Friday, .ratal injuries were received today by Mr. Frederick Charles Allen, married, mill manager for Messrs. Gamman and Company, Mamaku, through striking his head on a cattle stop. He was leaning out from the cab of a bush locomotive, to see what was amiss, as something seemed to be striking the lower part of the engine, when his head hit the cattle stop. He was taken to the hospital by his companions but died on the way.
