COLLISION AT AVONDALE

YOUNG WOMAN INJURED Injuries were received by two young women as tbe i-esult of a collision between a small car and a taxicab on tbe New North Road, Mount Albert, at about 5.50 yesterday afternoon. Both women were removed to the Auckland Hospital, but while one was able to proceed home, after medical attention, the other, Miss Winifred Cowan, of 50 Station Road, Avondale, who received cuts about tbe face, was forced ot remain. Miss Cowan was sitting beside tbe driver at tlie time of the accident, and two other young women were in the rear seat. All the occupants were badly shaken. The small car was damaged.
