ARAB WOMEN ROUSED

VEIL-LESS DEPUTATION TO COMMISSIONER PROTEST AGAINST POLICY (United P.A.—By Telegraph — Copyright) Reed. 11 a.m. JERUSALEM, Sunday. A congress of Arab women from all over Palestine was held today to support the Arab Executive’s demands to the British Government. The High Commissioner, Sir John Chancellor, received a delegation of women, who were without veils, for the first time in the history of Palestine, before any stranger outside their nearest kin. They were doing this for their country, and were prepared to do much more, if it were necessary, stated the spokesman. The women strongly protested against the Balfour Declaration, by which Britain undertook to give the Holy Land back to the Jews.
