NO FORESTRY AWARD
WORKERS’ STRONG PROTEST f Special to TUB SOS) ROTORUA, Saturday. A protest at the Arbitration Cour*. refusing to make an award to gorera wages and conditions in the forestrindustry, has been made by the South Auckland Forestry Workers’ Union. At a meeting of the union the t°*' lowing resolution was carried: “That this meeting views with f a p gravest concern the refusal of a majority of the Arbitration Court to grant an award to forestry workers. This remarkable and unjust decision calls for an immediate protest fr°® the Labour movement and we reQue;the Alliance of Labour to immediate.? approach the Prime Minister and Minister of Labour and to protesagainst the court's action.”
