TRAGIC STEEPLECHASE

PERTH, Sunday. Five horses contested the Westralian Centenary Steeplechase, but only two completed the course. Tedwin and Autumn Day, who fell, were killed. The jockeys, Seastream, Brooks and Boots, were seriously injured.
