N.Z. ALLIANCE SECRETARS
MR. C. R. EDMOND RESIGNS Press Association WELLINGTON, Thursday. The resignation of the general secretary, Mr. C. R. Edmond, was accepted with regret at the last meeting of the Dominion Executive* of the New Zealand Alliance. Mr. Edmond has accepted a commercial appointment. The executive unanimously adopted a resolution placing on record its high appreciation of the service he had rendered to the movement during the past six years. At the request of the executive, Mr. Edmond accepted a seat on the standing committee of the Alliance. Mr. J. Malton Murray, the preser* executive secretary, was elected to fl*. the position of general secretary a 3 from October 1.
