ANNUAL MEETING HELD j In presenting the annual report at ! the annual meeting ot' the Auckland branch of the Associated Booksellers °f New Zealand on Tuesday, the president, Mrs. E. YV. Moore, drew attention to the difficulty of carrying on business over the past year owing to the economic depression prevailing throughout the Dominion. In expressing the hope that better things would exist in the coming year. Mrs. Moore said that window displays of books, featuring those works being sold at English net prices, would be held during the current month, and should prove a good attraction to the j book-buying public. ; The balance sheet showed a satisj factory- financial position, and was adopted. j The following officers were elected: —President, Mrs. E. W. Moore: execu- | tive, Messrs. H. J. Edmiston, Heamer, A. J. Harding. J. W. Kealy, R. j. ! bitting, J. Walker.
