MOTOR-CARS BURNED
FIRE AT PALMERSTON PAINTER’S SHOP DAMAGED Press Association PALMERSTON N., Today. A fire at Palmerston North at 3.25 this morning caused considerable damage to premises in Rangitikei Street owned by Mr. A. Guy and occupied by Mr. G. H. Fitt, a motorcar painter and upholsterer. Four ears were almost totally destroyed, one belonging to Mr. Fitt being uninsured. The others were covered by tile owners’ private policies. The building, stock and plant were insurett. The other portion of the building was occupied by Mr. C. J. McGrath, a painter and upholsterer. It was slightly damaged.
