MR. R. BUDGE’S FUNERAL
The deep esteem in which- Mr. Robert Budge, who met his death in a cycling accident at Takapuna on Thursday, was held was reflected in the representative attendance at the funeral at Waikumete cemetery on Saturday afternoon. The casket was carried by a party of bluejackets. The Takapuna Municipal Band, of which Mr. Budge had been a popular member. played the “Dead March’ in “Saul” at the graveside.
