50TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATED BY COURT PRIDE OF NEWMARKET

UNIQUE DECORATIONS

Court Pride of Newmarket, A.0.F., held a very successful dance and social to commemorate their fiftieth anniversary. The proceedings were under the efficient management of Bro. Stokes, C.R., and Bro. G. Hughes. , The Newmarket Borough Council hall was prettily decorated for the occasion, the stage being made to resemble a scene in a New Zealand forest. A varied programme of vocal music was contributed. The dancing was to music provided by the Royal Syncopators. Among those present were: Mrs. Stokes, in lavender georgette, with relief; Airs.
