BULK OIL FROM SOURABAYA. —The Shell Oil Company advises that the tanker Emile Deutsch de la Meurthe is expected at Lyttelton about the end of the month with bulk oil from Sourabaya. THE TANKER MUREX.—Under charter to the Shell Company the tanker Murex is due at Auckland about September 5 with a full cargo of bulk oil from Borneo. The cargo will be unloaded at Auckland and Wellington. NIAGARA DUE MONDAY. Due at Auckland early on Monday morning from Sydney, the Union Company’s R.M.S. Niagara will berth about 5.30 a.m. at the Prince’s Wharf to land her passengers and mails, and to load for America. She is to sail again at 11 a.m. on Tuesday for Suva, Honolulu, Victoria and Vancouver. - TOFU A AT SAMOA.—Advice has been received by the local office of the Union Company that the Island passenger steamer Tofua arrived at Apia, Samoa, at 6 a.m. last Thursday, and leaves again at noon today for Suva and Auckland. She is expected to clear the Fijian port next Thursday and is due here the following Monday.

KAIWARRA WITH COAL.— With a cargo of coal for discharge, the Union Company’s collier Kaiwarra left Gladstone, Queensland, at 9 p.m. last Wednesday for Auckland, where she is due this Wednesday. MAHENO LEAVES SYDNEY, —According to a cable message received by the local office of the Union Company, the inetrcolonial passenger steamer Mali eno left Sydney at noon yesterday for Auckland, where she is due on Tuesday morning. THE TANKER BRU NSWICK.— Under charter to the Atlantic Union Oil Company, the electrically-driven tanker Brunswick is due from San Pedro at midday on Monday. The vessel has a full cargo of bulk oil for the company’s tanks at Auckland, Wellington, Melbourne and Sydney. Cargo for Auckland will be unloaded at Western Wharf. PORT MELBOURNE TO LOAD.— The Farmers' Co-op. Auctioneering Company has been advised that the C. and D. Line’s steamer Port Melbourne, which is en route from London with cargo for discharge at Auckland and Port Chalmers, w T ill on completion of her discharge load in New Zealand, and at Auckland on October 8, for London. KARAMEA ON MONDAY. —The Shaw, Savill and Albion Company’s motor-ship Karamea, which is due at Auckland on Monday from London, will berth at the Prince’s Wharf to unload the local portion of her cargo under the agency of L. D. Nathan and Company. Later the vessel proceeds to Wellington, thence Napier to complete discharge. PORT GISBORNE IN PORT. —To complete her loading under the agency of the Farmers’ Co-op. Auctioneering Company, the C. and D. Line’s motor-ship Port Gisborne arrived at Auckland this morning from Napier, and berthed at the Central Wharf. It is hoped to dispatch the vessel from here on Monday evening for New York, Boston and London, via Panama. WAIPAHI ARRIVING. —A further radio message received by the local office of the Union Company states that the Island fruit steamer Waipahi is arriving in the stream at Auckland at 1 p.m. today from the Cook Islands. She later berths at the King’s Wharf to land her l fruit and mails, and at noon next Wednesday sails on her return trip to Rarotonga, Aitutaki, Atiu and Mauke. SULPHUR FROM TEXAS —The steamers Arlington Court and Scottecraig are due next Wednesday and Thursday respectively with full cargoes of sulphur from Galveston, Texas. The Arlington Court’s cargo is for discharge at Auck; land, Lyttelton, Port Chalmers, Wanganui and New Plymouth. The vessel has been allotted a berth at Central Wharf. The Scotscraig will unload cargo for Auckland at King’s Wharf. Afterward she will go to Newcastle, Sydney and Port Kembla to complete discharge. A. G. Frankham, Limited, will act as the local agent of both vessels.
