WEDDING OF INTEREST
CREPE DE CHINE AND ORANGE BLOSSOM SORRENSON—HARTNETT Much, interest was taken in the wedding: at Upper Papamoa, at the residence of Mr and Mrs. P. Sorrenson. of Miss Zaidee (Tui) Livick-Asher, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. Hartnett, Cameron Road, Tauranga, to Mr. Robert John Sorrenson. Stately ferns and golden wattle made a. dignified setting for the ceremony, which was performed by the Rev. Mr. Sussex, of Te Puke, uncle of the bridegroom. Kntering on the arm of her fosterfather, the bride More an exquisite frock of honey coloured crepe de chine, trimmed with embossed insertions and godets of silk lace, while orange blossoms trailed from the shoulder to the waist. A graceful train of silk tulle was embellished with appliques of chrysanthemums, and was suspended from a coronet of orange blossoms. The bride’s shower bouquet was pale tinted stocks, freesias, and rosebuds, tied with tulle and satin streamers. The bridesmaid was Miss Kathleen Sorrenson, sister of the bridegroom. She More a striking frock of apple green crepe de chine, with shoulder posy and handkerchief-pointed overskirt. complete with a narrow silver girdle. A shower bouquet of Iceland poppies and daffodils wa.s carried. Mr. C. Kiddie, of Tauranga, was best man. In the . evening- a large number of guests were entertained in the Upper Papamoa school.
