GRAF ZEPPELIN LEAVES THIS MORNING LONG FLIGHT TO AMERICA (Australian and N.Z. Press Association) Reed. 9 a.m. TOKYO, Wednesday. The Graf Zeppelin is leaving at 4 o’clock tomorrow morning on her long flight across the Pacific to the United States. She is carrying mails for America and Germany only. The Zeppelin’s ultimate destination is Lakehurst, New Jersey. When she arrives there she will have flown round the world. The Zeppelin’s commander, Dr. Hugo Eckenei-, and his staff havo received medals and souvenirs galore, Including silver cups with the Imperial crest. They were given a banquet by Cabinet Ministers, and also luncheons and receptions, all the functions being most cordial. The Zeppelin is now refuelling.
