NEW PICTURES TOMORROW The current programmes at both the Grand and Lyric Theatres will be screened for —3 last time this evening. Tbe pictures are “Beggars of Life." an unusually dramatic storv of tramps, starring Louise Brooks. Wallace Beery and Richard Arlen, also “The Woman From Luna,” a comedydrama with backgrounds of an amusement park in a big city, and a lonely lighthouse. Mary Astor and Roy D’Arcy are the stars. An entirely new programme will be screened at both theatres tomorrow. The chief attraction will be the silent version of the Vilma Banky soundsynchronised picture, “The Awakening,” now at the Majestic Theatre. “The Awakening” is a charming romance of Alsace in the days just before the war, with Walter Byron, Louis Wolheim in roles supporting Miss Banky. The second picture tomorrow will be “The Veiled "Woman.” a breath-taking drama of Parisian life, starring Lia Tora and Paul Vincenti. “Mary Was Love,” William Freshman's latest production for British International, is now completed. It has an unusual story, and an excellent supporting cast, including Blanche Adele, Carol Goodner, John Butt, and Hannah Jones.
