AUSTRALIAN BLACKS
LECTURE BY NOTED ETHNOLOGIST .The life and customs of the Australian aborigines will be described by Mr. tV. tv. Thorpe, ethnologist, of the Australian Museum, in a special address to the Auckland Institute to be given this evening in the University College Hall. Mr. Thorpe has made a life-long study of this subject and the public therefore has an opportunity of hearing an authoritative account of native life in Australia and of the peopling of the continent by a primitive human race.
