TREES TO BE SPARED
DECISION AT HAMILTON (Front Our Oven Correspondent) HAMILTON, Wednesday. Hamilton’s famous esplanade of old trees in Grey Street, on the eastern bank of the river, -will not be effaced yet. “That no further action he taken” was the decision of the Borough Council this evening regarding an old plana tree which it was proposed to remove or prune. Since last council meeting a storm of criticism was levelled at the council through the local Press.
