There is but scant hope for the safety of the Swiss transatlantic flyers. They have not been reported since passing the Azores. Nine steamships on the course have not sighted the machine. Captain Kaesar, the Swiss airman, who set out from Lisbon, Portugal, a Monday in the monoplane Switzerland, on an attempted flight to New Y’ork. passed the island of Terceira ar 4 p.m. the same day. Apparently be was heading for Halifax, Nova Scotia. The machine was flying fast and ihe motors were working well.
