SNAP QUESTION ABOUT TOUR OF AUSTRALIA KNOWS NOTHING OF IT (Australian and N.Z. Press Association) Reed. 11.15 a.m. LONDON, Wed. When he was interviewed at Aldington, Dean W. R. Inge was asked whether he was likely to go to Australia on a lecturing tour. The dean was obviously surprised at this sudden question, and replied that he knew nothing of an Australian tour. He said:—"lf I am not invited. I naturally will remain silent. I know nothing of the suggestion, but. if 1 am asked 1 will reply promptly.”
