MOTOR-CAR HITS LORRY

PASSENGER INJURED During the heavy rain yesterday afternoon at the northern boundary of Papakura on the Great South Road, a motor-car smashed into a stationary motor-lorry. The car was driven by Mr. Danks, who was accompanied by Mr. G. H. Keeling, of Auckland. The driver escaped injuries but the passenger received fairly severe injuries and was taken to a private hospital near the scene of tlie accident. The car was badly damaged.
