PRIVY COUNCIL STATUS
CONTROVERSY GOES ON IN ENGLAND DOMINIONS’ RIGHTS (Australian and N.Z. Press Association) Reed. 9.5 a.m. LONDON, Sunday. Commenting on the controversy regarding the statement that the Imperial Government was ready to permit any Dominion to abolish the right of appeal to the Privy Council, official circles here point out that the matter does not rest solely with the Imperial Government. It is primarily a matter for each Dominion to decide for itself, in conjunction with the Imperial authority.
