CLOSER SETTLEMENT
THREE ESTATES OFFERED TO GOVERNMENT Press Association BLENHEIM, Today. The Bankkouse and Marchburn estates, which adjoin at the confluence of the Waihopai and Wairau Rivers, about 10 miles from Blenheim, have been offered to the Government for closer settlement. The Delta estate also adjoins the properties referred to, and is available for closer settlement. The three properties, subdivided, would afford an opportunity for a closer settlement scheme on a fairly large scale.
