POPULAR ARCHDEACON
ORPHANS’ CLUB PRESENTATION A most consistent supporter of the Hamilton Orphans’ Club since its inception, Archdeacon Cowie was entertained last evening: by the club prior to his departure from Hamilton. The popular archdeacon who has held several important offices in the club was presented with a smoker’s outfit, and a fountain pen. The vicepresident, Mr. H. J. Fergruson, referred to the excellent support the archdeacon had given the club during the past nine years.
