YOUNG WOMAN’S DEATH

OPENING OF INQUEST (From Our Own Correspondent) WAIHI, Sunday. An inquest concerning the death of Amelia Mary Pipi, single woman, aged 23, who died in the Waihi Hospital on Friday, was opened before the district coroner, Mr. W. M. Wallnutt. this morning. After the deceased’s father, Mr. H. A. Pipi, had given evidence of identification and had stated that his daughter had acted as his housekeeper, the inquest was, on the application of Sergeant H. L. Calwell, adjourned for further investigations to bo made.
