Round the Churches
The morning service in St. Mary’s Cathedral, Parnell, will be conducted by the acting-vicar, the Rev. H. Williams, tomorrow. In the evening the Rev. G. C. Cruickshank, of St. Mark’s, Remuera, will preach.
I>r. W. H. Pettit will continue the Unity Hall series of lectures by speaking in the Town Hall Concert Chamber at 3 p.m. tomorrow on “Christ or Evolution: Which?”
Mr. A. Hamblin will conduct tomorrow morning’s service of the Methodist Central Mission in Airedale Street. In the evening the Rev. C. G. Scrimgeour will speak in the Strand Theatre on “You’re the Fellow I Want to Meet,” and the final part of the film, “The Fool,” will be shown.
The Rev. W. Gilmour will preach at both services in the Edendale Presbyterian Church tomorrow. At the Somervell Church the Rev. J. Pattison will preach.
The Rev. W. Walker will conduct the service in the Pitt Street Methodist Church tomorrow morning. In the evening the Rev. Ur. H. Ranston will preach.
A Community Mission service will be held in the Zealandia Hall, Uominion Road at 7 p.m. tomorrow. The Rev. George Jackson will preach on "How Uoes God Reveal Himself Today?”
At St. John’s Methodist Church, Ponsonby, tomorrow morning the Rev. C. G. Scrimgeour will preach. The Rev. Arthur Mitchell will conduct the evening service, at which special anthems and solos will be sung.
The Rev. J. G. Hughes will speak at tomorrow evening’s meeting of the Progressive Church of Spiritualists in Newmarket. His subject will be “Healing the Body by Spiritual Agencies.”
The Spiritual Scientists’ Church, Ponsonby, will hold an Open Circle at 3 p.m. tomorrow. At 7 p.m., Mrs. Harris-{Roberts will give an inspired address on “The Growth of Religion.’’
Services will be held tomorrow morning and evening by the First Church of Christ, Scientist, in the Church Hall, Symonds Street. The subject of the addresses will be “Truth.”
The Rev. A. J. Grigg will preach at the morning service in the Grange Road Baptist Church tomorrow. In the evening the Rev. A. S. Wilson will conduct the service.
The Rev. Charles Chandler will speak at the Men’s Brotherhood meeting in the Y.M.C.A. at 4.15 p.m. tomorrow.
The International Bible Students’ Association will meet in the Masonic Hall, Edinburgh Street, at 6.45 p.m. tomorrow. Mr. Reid will speak.
