FALWASSER PLAYS
TOHEN the Manukau Rovers Rugby team lines out against Training College at Onehunga this afternoon, it will be strengthened by the return of Albert Falwasser, the brilliant Maori player, about whose movements rumour has been so active during the last few weeks. It is understood on reliable
authority that Falwasser made a statement to the Management Committee of the N.Z. Rugby Union, and that, as a result, it was considered that no further action was necessary. Falwasser was reported to have accepted an
offer to play as a professional for a Northern Union League Club in England. On the eve of sailing from New Zealand, he apparently decided to stay in the Dominion, and since then speculation has been rife as to what he would do for the remainder of the season and what action, if any, the Rugby Union would take. It would appear that the question is bow settled satisfactorily.
