CHENILLE AND TULLE

TRASK—CHRISTIANSEN On \chnesday afternoon, at \Vellington, the Rev. Canon Fancourt officiated at the fully choral wedding of Miss Myrtle Gladys Christiansen, only daughter of Mir. and Mrs. A. C. Christiansen, Wellington, to Mr. Clifford S. Trash. only son of Mrs, and the late Captain S. V. Trash. All Saints' Church was chamningly decorated by friends of the bride with fern fronds and heather, camellius and rhododendrons. The bride, who was given away by her father, were a dainty frock of ivory chenille and tulle. The close—fitting sleeveless bodice was of chenille. and the skirt, longer at the back than the front, was of soft tulle frills. A veil of embroidered tulle was held at the head with a. bandeau of orange blos—som and fell in soft folds to form a. train. She carried a. bouquet of freesias, pink roses and maidenhair fern. The two bridesmaids were bliss Eileen Trash, sister of the bridegroom, land Bliss J. Williams, of \Vellington. ‘luiss Trask wore primrose soft satin. with frilled skirt of spot silk net, edged with ribbon with tiny posies of primrose at the sides. IVliss Willimns’s frock was of v. edgewood blue net and satin, made on similar lines, with posies or forget—nie-nots. Both maids wore hats of beige felt, and each carried a bouquet to tone with her frock. The best man was Mr. Ernie Uhrbom, and Mr. D. Christiansen. brother of the bride, was groomsn‘lan. At the wedding reception the bride’s mother received the guests wearing a 'frock of navy silk rayon with touches of gold. and a black hat and black fur froat. She carried a bouquet of violets. Mrs. Trask. the bridegroom‘s mother. was in a handsome gown of french grey georg'ette and lace. with hat of black velvet. She also carried violets. Mr. and Mrs. Trask will reside in Palmerston North.
