“4 DEVILS” Directed by Murnan, who- was responsible for the production 01 "Sunrise." "4 Devils." a. romantic drama or circus life, continues to be the big attraction at the Strand Theatre. The leading roles are played by Janet Gaynor, Nancy Dredel, Charles Morton and Barry Norton, who appear to advantage in difficult roles. , The story deals with the careers of two brothers and two sisters, who are employed as acrobats by a prominent circus manager. In the course of time the pupils rise to the top of their profession. and Charles, the leader of the troupe. falls in love with Nancy. the leading acrobat. On the opening night of the circus in Paris, a. wealthy French woman succeeds in luring Charles away from his fiancee. and the manner in which Nancy succeeds in winning her lover from the beautiful Parisienne makes an enjoyable theme for the remainder of the film.
